We're here!

After nearly 24 hours of travel, we made it!  My suitcase was barely under weight (49 lbs), and I got patted down in Salt Lake (word to the wise: don't wear sequins through a body scanner), but we made it!  The Jerusalem Center sit on a hill overlooking the city, including the classic Dome of the Rock.  The chapel has the best view in the house and a grand pipe organ (Mom, you would have loved it).  The center is incredible!

While warmer than Provo, it is still nippy!  It has been snowing in Jerusalem, something that rarely happens in the city.  Even though it's barely a quarter of an inch, the city is in awe at the sight.  It's neat to think of the scripture in Isaiah through that lens: "Though your bsins be as scarlet, they shall be as cwhite as snow."

Thanks for the gloves Katie!

The people I've met are great and I'm excited to get to know the students, the staff/faculty, and the city more each day!
