First off, I'm so sorry that it's taken me so long to post! I've been having a hard time figuring out to get pictures up and what's the fun of a blog without pictures? I think I've figured it out, and hopefully I'll be better in the future!
After our tour of city from our professors, my friends and I took our time wandering back. In West Jerusalem, there is a courtyard will pillows instead of benches to sit on. We walked by YogurtLand (shout out to SJ!)-- I wonder if it tastes similar to the one back in Provo....
There is a shop owner who makes sells lots of things the typical souvenirs at good prices, but he also sells stuff for us Jerusalem students! I am currently wearing my BYU Jerusalem sweatshirt with a camel on it thanks to Shabban! We stopped by to look at his shop and he insisted we dress up in traditional garb and take a picture with him. I think we are going to be great friends! It was so fun to explore the city-- I can't believe this is my home for the next three months!
